Kathrine Farrell M.S. CCC-SLP
Kathrine Farrell is the founder, owner, and lead pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist at Coastal Speech Therapy LLC. Before earning her master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at New York University, she worked as an elementary education teacher, which provided a strong foundation for her work as an SLP today.
Kathrine specializes in diagnosing and treating language and articulation disorders in children, with a focus on early intervention, preschool, pre-K, and school-aged populations in private and school settings. She has extensive training in AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), Gestalt Language Processors, child-led therapy, DIR Floortime, and is certified in The Hanen Centre's More Than Words™ Program.
In addition to her clinical work, Kathrine serves on the Early Childhood Advisory Council in Point Pleasant, NJ and leads a community outreach initiative called Coastal C.A.R.E.S. This program offers free professional development courses, community speaking events, and speech and language screenings to support local families and educators.
She is a proud member of ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association), NJ ASHA, and the NeuroAffirm.com database for neuro-affirming providers. Kathrine also holds a New Jersey Department of Education Standard Teaching Certificate, which enhances her ability to work effectively with children and educators alike.
Kathrine is deeply committed to neuro-affirming practices, which include respecting and supporting each child’s unique communication style, honoring their sensory needs, and fostering a strengths-based approach to therapy.In her free time, Kathrine enjoys reading, crafting, traveling with her family and sitting on the beach. She spends most of her time as a mom to two sweet redheads and being a wife to a former Marine.

Meredith Pollara M.S. CCC-SLP
As a Founder of Coastal Speech Therapy, Meredith earned a Master’s Degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from New York University. Before founding Coastal Speech Therapy LLC, Meredith worked as a speech-language pathologist, providing therapy to children of all ages in school, clinic, and home settings.
As a parent of two toddler daughters and a newborn son, Meredith understands the importance of family time. The motivation behind starting Coastal Speech Therapy LLC was to create a practice that not only supports children's language development but also helps families incorporate communication-building strategies into their daily routines.
With a strong commitment to parent and caregiver mentoring, Meredith focuses on routine-based intervention, offering practical, evidence-based tips that turn everyday moments into opportunities for language growth and connection. Whether it’s mealtime, playtime, laundry, errands, or nap preparation, Meredith helps families make the most of these experiences to foster communication.
In addition to in-home and telehealth therapy, Meredith also provides consultative services to families as well as in daycare and school settings, ensuring children receive the support they need in their natural environments.

Brenna Carrigy M.S. CCC-SLP
Brenna Carrigy, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a founder of Coastal Speech Therapy LLC and a dedicated speech-language pathologist. She earned her Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from Seton Hall University and has extensive experience working with the pediatric population in schools, clinics, and in-home settings, supporting children with a variety of diagnoses.
Brenna has extensive training and experience in child-led neurodiverse therapy and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). As a school-based therapist, she has a deep understanding of the IEP process and provides consultations and advocacy to help parents navigate special education services for their children.
Throughout her career, Brenna has developed a strong passion for educating, training, and supporting parents, empowering families to take an active role in their child’s language development. She is currently providing in-home speech and language therapy as well as evaluations across Monmouth, Ocean, and Mercer Counties.
