Complimentary Initial phone consultations to discuss your concerns about your child's speech and language development. During this call, our experienced therapists will listen to your needs, answer any questions, and guide you on potential next steps, including screens, evaluations, therapy options, or referrals.
Telehealth/Direct In-Home Therapy
Convenient and effective telehealth and In-home services, providing speech and language therapy from the comfort of your home. Our virtual & in-person sessions are designed to be engaging, interactive, and tailored to each child’s needs, ensuring meaningful progress in communication skills.
Screening
A speech and language screening at Coastal Speech Therapy is a quick, informal assessment designed to identify potential communication challenges. Screenings help determine if a full evaluation is needed by assessing key speech, language, and social communication skills. This is a great first step for parents who have concerns about their child’s development.
School Contracting
Coastal Speech Therapy is a New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) vendor, partnering with local school districts to provide contracted speech-language services. We assist schools in managing increased caseloads, conducting evaluations, covering make-up sessions, and supporting Extended School Year (ESY) programs. Our team of experienced therapists ensures students receive the services they need while helping districts meet compliance and staffing demands.
Evaluation
We provide comprehensive speech, language, and articulation evaluations tailored to your child’s specific needs. Our thorough assessments identify strengths and areas of concern, guiding individualized therapy recommendations. Following the evaluation, families receive a detailed report outlining the results, professional insights, and next steps for support.
Daycare Push-In/Partnerships
Coastal Speech Therapy partners with local daycares to provide free speech and language screenings, on-site therapy, and push-in services for children ages 3 and up. Our goal is to support early language development in natural learning environments, helping children build strong communication skills.
Individualized Parent Coaching
We offer unique parent coaching sessions designed to provide personalized 1:1 consultations with parents to support their child’s language development. These sessions are available monthly, biweekly, or weekly, based on individual needs.
During these sessions, parents can:

✅ Learn practical ways to encourage communication in daily routines.
✅ Share concerns and ask questions in a supportive, expert-led environment.
✅ Get guidance from a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) tailored to their child’s unique needs.

Please note that Coastal Speech is currently out of network with insurance companies. Inquire about our treatment and evaluation rates, and we can provide a Super Bill for families to provide to your insurance for potential reimbursement through Out of Network coverage.
We also accept FSA and HSA cards. We recommend calling your insurance company before booking an appointment to clarify your policy details.
